Lumpectomy

A lumpectomy removes the cancerous tumor and a small “margin” of surrounding healthy tissue while leaving the rest of the breast intact.

This allows you to retain your natural breast shape and is typically followed by radiation therapy to ensure all cancer cells are treated.
